Community Education and Engagement

Community Education SeSSIONS

The NT Working Women’s Centre runs regular short community education sessions for vulnerable or disadvantaged groups on a wide range of work-related topics.

The most popular sessions are:

  • basic rights at work
  • workplace rights for women who are pregnant or returning to work
  • enterprise agreements
  • domestic violence and work
  • workplace bullying

There is flexibility around the sessions we offer. We can design and deliver a session on almost any topic relating to women’s rights at work.

Please contact us for further information or to book a tailored training package for your organisation or group.

The NT Working Women's Centre regularly engages with the community at key events such as International Women's Day, May Day, Senior's Expo and more.

The most common requests we get are:

  • to host a stall
  • provide a workshop
  • give a short talk on what our service offers

We are flexible around what we can offer and bring to your event, therefore, if you would like us to be part of your event please contact us to discuss your request.
